Qualifications

• Four or more years of medical billing experience, including at least one leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of the full revenue cycle and payer rules.
• Confident, client-facing communication with practice owners and managers.
• Experience running reports and explaining them to non-billers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and review the work of a remote billing and AR team
• Serve as named account lead for a portfolio of client practices
• Run fortnightly status calls and present monthly reports by provider, location and payer
• Set daily priorities across charge lag, rejections, denials and aging
• Onboard new practices: system access, payer setup, workflows and baseline metrics
• Coordinate with credentialing so new providers bill from their effective date
• Track targets (denial rate, days in AR, clean claim rate) and act when they slip
