Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services invites applications for a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist. The role centers on processing medical claims with accuracy and timeliness to reduce denial rates and bad debt, while supporting revenue cycle duties within compliant practices.

This is a 100% remote position. We seek candidates with 2–5 years of home infusion billing or collections experience, a high school diploma, and specialized training in intake, billing, or collections.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English, ability to communicate with patients, payers, and caregivers.
• Proven understanding of billing processes, payer types, and collection practices.
• Ability to identify gaps, make decisions, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong organization skills with clear, complete record-keeping.
• Proficiency with MS Office and pharmacy applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy, and third-party claims accurately and timely.
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to improve submission success.
• Maintain ready-to-bill delivery tickets and flag tickets with status updates.
• Document activity in CareTend to ensure complete account history.
• Contribute to training materials and processes for the RCM team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
