Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to process medical and pharmacy claims with accuracy and timeliness. The role focuses on reducing denial rates, DSO, and bad debt while complying with standard practices.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of home infusion billing/collections experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience
• High School Diploma and additional specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy and third-party vendor claims timely and accurately.
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to ensure successful submissions.
• Maintain ready-to-bill delivery tickets and communicate ticket status within RCM and Franchises.
• Document activity and communications in CareTend to ensure account accuracy.
• Contribute billing expertise to training materials and procedures.
