Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle all billing for primary and secondary insurances across locations. You will work with office staff to submit clean claims to insurance carriers and collaborate with clinical teams to resolve denials.

The role requires 2+ years in medical billing/coding, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, and strong interpersonal skills. Remote work option with Utah location, plus comprehensive benefits and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in billing and collections in a medical setting preferred or comparable education
• High School diploma, with 1-2 years experience in healthcare insurance billing and verification, collections and/or authorizations
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10
• 2 years: Medical billing/Coding

Responsibilities

• Performs all billing for primary and secondary insurances for all practice locations.
• Interacts with business office staff and facility staff as needed to obtain information necessary to submit a clean claim to insurance carriers.
