Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for a remote-based role open to applicants nationwide.

The ideal candidate will ensure proper claim details, billing compliance, and timely resolution to support the organization’s financial goals, with strong CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS knowledge and experience with Epic, Meditech, and NextGen EHR systems. You will review and process claims, verify billing information, submit primary and secondary claims, resolve denials, and

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding and claim submission standards.
• Proficiency with billing software and EHR systems (Epic, Meditech, NextGen).

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims to ensure accurate billing to payers and patients.
• Verify accuracy of billing information (CPT/ICD-10, modifiers, demographics).
• Submit primary and secondary claims electronically or on paper as required.
• Resolve claim rejections and errors by correcting and resubmitting timely.
• Monitor unpaid or delayed claims and initiate follow-up or re-billing as needed.
• Collaborate with coding, registration, and clinical teams to resolve billing issues.
• Generate claims and statements as dictated by scope.
• Respond to billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Stay current with billing regulations, payer requirements, and HIPAA compliance.
• Meet department productivity, accuracy, and quality benchmarks
