Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in medical billing, knowledge of payer guidelines, and proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, or NextGen.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• Familiar with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding and claim submission standards.
• Proficient with EHR systems and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims to ensure accurate billing for payers and patients.
• Verify billing information, CPT/ICD-10 codes, modifiers, and demographics.
• Submit primary/secondary claims electronically or on paper as required.
• Resolve rejections and follow up on unpaid/delayed claims.
• Collaborate with coding/registration/clinical teams to obtain missing data.
