Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or healthcare administration.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Submit medical claims to insurance carriers accurately and timely.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Post payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with appeals and resubmission of denied or rejected claims.
• Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation in the EMR/EHR system.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries.
