LifeStance Health is seeking a remote Medical Billing Coordinator to support our national practice. You'll collaborate with the Lead, Supervisor and Management to ensure accurate revenue-cycle management and timely billing across clinics nationwide.

Requirements include a minimum of two years in medical billing, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Teams. Experience with automated billing systems and Medicare/Medicaid knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; two years medical billing experience; ability to work in team and independently; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams); experience with automated billing systems preferred; knowledge of full revenue cycle with insurance, Medicare and Medicaid; strong attention to detail; commitment to diversity and inclusive practice.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties in a professional manner, interacting with insurance plans, clinics, patients, and team members as needed
• Maintain current information on correct and lawful practices for billing payers
• Participate in daily revenue cycle management processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion
• Maintain up-to-date information on RCM processes with National SOPs, processes and policies
• Utilize all available job aids, websites, programs, and resources provided
• Support leadership with daily, weekly, monthly reporting needs
• Maintain department productivity while meeting quality standards
• Identify issues to Team Lead / Supervisor including system access, payor behavior, and workflow inconsistencies
• Other duties as needed
