Job summary

ReWorks Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Administrator to manage end-to-end medical billing processes. This remote role follows US hours (9am-5pm EST) and focuses on ensuring timely reimbursement for services rendered.

Experience in Speech Therapy or ABA billing is advantageous. The position requires at least 1 year of medical billing experience, healthcare industry knowledge, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience.
• Experience working in healthcare billing is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims to insurance providers and government programmes.
• Monitor claims through payment and follow up on outstanding items.
• Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims.
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Submit corrected claims and appeals when necessary.
• Ensure all claims are submitted within payer deadlines.
• Maintain accurate provider, patient, and billing records.
• Liaise with insurers and providers regarding billing enquiries and status.
• Provide updates on outstanding claims and reimbursement issues.
