Job summary

CareTalk Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for a 100% remote role in the United States. The position is full-time W2, with a $25 per hour compensation and a 40-hour work week across shifts 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. EST, including rotating weekends.

You will support clinicians through scheduling, RTM/RPM tasks, documentation, and patient engagement, ensuring high-quality virtual care and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Remote patient monitoring, telehealth, or care coordination experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients remotely.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities for managing virtual visits.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation procedures.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordination of medical appointments and reminders.
• Assist in RTM and RPM activities, setup, monitoring and follow-up.
• Communicate with nurses and providers as needed for health questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per privacy laws.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patients and ensure supportive care journey.
• Facilitate clear communication among patients, providers and team members.
• Additional duties as needed.
