You will sit with families through prognosis conversations, escort patients to procedures, perform charting, draw labs, and flag staffing gaps. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is accepted, with a NC sensibility and teamwork at the core.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Cary market and local healthcare landscape
• A history of leaving healthcare processes better than you found them
• Mid-level-caliber judgment about when to escalated and when to absorb
• A NC sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• A teammate's instinct to unblock others before yourself

Responsibilities

• Sit with families through hard conversations about prognosis, code status, and goals of care
• Escort fragile patients to procedures, monitoring telemetry the entire transport
• De-escalate agitated patients with presence and voice before reaching for restraints
• Flag staffing gaps to the charge Medical Assistant before they become patient-safety risks
• Set up and break down sterile trays between cases on a tight OR turnover clock
• Carry both bedside care and the gloriously-unglamorous charting load GrowthLab Inc expects of a mid-level clinician
• Draw labs, run point-of-care testing, and flag abnormal panels to the supervising clinician
