Gainwell Technologies is seeking an entry-level Long-Term Care Auditor I to support identification and recovery of Medicaid improper payments in long-term care. This remote role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a caseload across multiple providers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply Medicaid regulations related to long term care.
• Analyze provider records across accounting systems to identify discrepancies.
• Identify improper payments and coordinate benefits issues.
• Serve as primary liaison for assigned providers and maintain communication.
• Manage a caseload of 30+ cases in various stages of completion.
• Prepare and deliver provider reports and provide updates to management.
• Communicate status updates and reports regularly to leadership.
