Peraton’s SafeGuard Services (SGS) is seeking a Medicaid Auditor/Investigator to conduct audits and reviews of Medicaid programs, ensuring compliance and recovering overpayments. You will apply analytical skills to solve moderately complex issues, work independently or with a team, and maintain thorough documentation of all steps in case files.

The role is remote, with residence within the Northeast jurisdictions.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years with BS/BA or 6 years with HS diploma.
• Experience in accounting or related field, law enforcement, health science or related field.
• Knowledge of internal audit/investigative policies and Medicare/Medicaid auditing.
• Strong Research and analytical skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Medicaid audits and reviews for compliance with program rules.
• Analyze billing patterns; interview beneficiaries and others.
• Organize case files and document steps taken.
• Identify compliance issues and recommend improvements.
• Present findings with data and regulatory citations.
• Manage multiple assignments and report audit status.
