Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing large data sets.
• Experience using SAS, SQL, or Python: ability to write SAS code without GUI is required.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or Databricks is strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare-related data analysis, specifically Medicaid claims, is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot code independently.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis (PivotTables not a major part).

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare data including claims datasets across hospital, physician, and other services.
• Design, develop, and use data models.
• Review, evaluate, and summarize data model output.
• Assist with Medicaid policy research and analysis.
• Draft technical documentation and client reports.
• Support quality control processes by reviewing colleagues' work.
