Job summary

Intralox L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Support Engineer for our New Orleans, LA location. You will troubleshoot remotely, advise customers, and collaborate with the Life Cycle Services Team to resolve field issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD), 25% travel, and strong communication skills to ensure high-quality customer experiences across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical controls engineering or related field.
• Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems remotely/over the phone.
• Strong communication and ownership for high-quality customer experience.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work within Life Cycle Services Team to support US and Canadian market.
• Serve as an advanced remote troubleshooter and problem-solver for customer issues.
• Provide technical assistance to Customer Service, Account Managers, and Customers remotely via phone, email, or web conference.
• Make field visits to understand issues on new projects and evaluate exposure/impact of field issues.
• Take ownership of after-sales issues and ensure timely resolution while updating customers.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate to product/design teams for improvements.
• Collaborate with service technicians, project managers, and other design/testing teams.
