Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., has an opening for an Applications Engineer with a strong background in mechanical technologies. The role provides technical service and support to commercial sales teams for modular plastic belting and ThermoDrive technology installations, ideally based in New Orleans, LA.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate mechanical concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel approximately 60%, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to drive aligned priorities.
• Propose application solutions that improve customer operations.
• Lead installation, startup, troubleshooting, and training activities.
• Provide hands-on technical service to food processing customers, especially within the Meat, Poultry & Seafood segment.
• Create clear field reports and practical recommendations.
• Travel primarily across US & Canada, with occasional international travel.

Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has a position available for an Applications Engineer with a strong background in mechanical technologies to provide technical service and support to the commercial sales teams for installation of our modular plastic belting technology and ThermoDrive technology in conveyance. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Food Science, or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer support (on-site or remote) or industrial sales support as a technical resource.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate mechanical concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel approximately 60%, including weekends and holidays; mostly predictable and scheduled
• Fluent in English and Spanish
