YO AI Labs is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert for a global, fully remote AI training project. The role involves solving and validating design, simulation, and materials analyses with Python automation across structural and thermal domains.

The ideal candidate will translate requirements into robust models, generate reproducible reference solutions, and review AI-generated engineering results. Flexible ~15 hours/week, contractor-based.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or BS with 1–2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and simulation.
• Practical Python and tool proficiency for programmatic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, and testing.
• Translate requirements into analytical and computational models.
• Create/modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, constraints, and solver inputs.
• Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, fatigue, buckling, and vibration analyses.
• Use Python to automate simulations, parameter sweeps, optimization, and post-processing.
• Analyze stress, strain, temperature, deformation, and safety factors.
• Diagnose modeling issues and validate results.
