Job summary

A leading outsourcing solutions provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate mechanical distribution systems primarily in Troy, MI, with occasional travel to Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in mechanical contracting or an Architectural/Engineering firm, possessing strong communication skills and proficiency in Revit. This role involves overseeing layout work and managing modelers while ensuring adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years minimum experience with mechanical contracting company or Architectural/Engineering firm.
• Experience with reviewing, editing and writing project specifications.
• Experience with generating and/or reviewing production submittals against project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate all mechanical distribution systems meeting project specifications.
• Review and oversee layout work performed by un-licensed engineers on staff.
• Manage and schedule 3D modelers/2D Drafters on staff.
