Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 6-month contract to design, develop, and maintain systems integrating mechanical components. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and documenting designs using Ceres and CAD tools.

Responsibilities include DFMEA/PFMEA, prototype testing, and supporting manufacturing during first article builds. The position is fully remote with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products.
• Documents designs using Ceres or CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans.
• Participates in DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D processes.
• Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates in cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing designs.
• Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans.
• Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews.
• Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews.
• Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality.
• Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions.
• Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties.
