American Equipment Holdings is hiring a Mechanical Designer II with expertise in crane systems. You will design components with SolidWorks, prepare models for drawings and BOMs, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure safety and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical design, CSWP certification, CSWE preferred, and a strong background in crane design or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate with crane design experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in crane design or heavy equipment industries.
• SolidWorks used to design crane systems and components with a focus on safety and manufacturability.

Responsabilités

• Design crane systems and components using SolidWorks.
• Create and adapt 3D models for drawings, BOMs, and docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and PM teams to meet requirements.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement.
• Prepare project drawings, submittals, and fabrication documentation.
