AfterQuery is a remote, project-based mechanical engineering role for individuals with 2-4 years of hands-on CAD and design experience. You will work asynchronously on projects over 2-3 weeks, committing roughly 10-20 hours per week.

Competenze

• 2–4 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient in at least one major CAD platform.
• Ability to produce detailed mechanical designs and drawings to industry standards.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.

Mansioni

• Create, review, and iterate on mechanical designs and CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation to manufacturing standards.
• Perform engineering analysis including stress, tolerance, and DFM assessments.
• Support product development workflows from concept through prototype to production-ready design.
• Document design decisions, assumptions, and methodologies clearly and reproducibly.
