Job summary

Connect Tech+Talent is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture initiatives, bridging on-premises and cloud environments. You will define strategy, establish governance, and ensure scalable data solutions across portfolios.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on MDM proficiency, strong data modeling and ETL design skills, and experience with AWS and modern cloud platforms. This role offers a hybrid US-based work arrangement with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building enterprise data architectures.
• Proficiency with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or IBM InfoSphere.
• Strong understanding of data governance and metadata management.
• Experience with data modeling, APIs, ETL design, and modern cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Proven ability to lead across disciplines to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Glue, or Redshift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the single point of accountability for architecture function to portfolio owner customers and technology leadership.
• Provides architectural guidance on initiatives of moderate to high complexity across multiple enterprise portfolios, while managing multiple customers with differing priorities on the organization's most strategic initiatives.
• Provides full-stack architectural options that enable business objectives while ensuring long-term technology goals for all aspects of a solution.
• Collaborates with team members for technical validation during design and planning phases, informing portfolio maturity and achieving a minimum viable architecture.
• Monitors large-scale project execution and communicates architectural tradeoffs to enable informed decisions.
• Mentors team members and fosters an environment for analysts, engineers, architects, and other technology leaders to grow.
• Directs and drives closure on investment decisions and identifies cross-portfolio impacts on major delivery initiatives.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for multiple portfolios, providing actionable recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborates with architects and portfolio owners to provide project and program views within enterprise strategies.
• Supports business agility through agile engagement across multiple delivery operations.
• Interprets business needs, assesses solution choices, and guides projects with a long-term enterprise perspective.
