Job summary

Rocket Doctor is seeking a Maryland Physician Lead to grow and support the physician network and clinical operations in Maryland. You will work with the U.S. Medical Director and cross-functional teams to recruit physicians, onboard them, and ensure seamless integration with EMR and platform tools.

The role is part-time, remote, with asynchronous work via Slack/email and regular biweekly meetings. Prior telemedicine leadership and Medicaid/Medicare familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed in Maryland and board-certified in a US specialty.
• Active Maryland medical license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Physicians.
• Familiarity with telemedicine, HIPAA, and U.S. privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and engage physicians to join Rocket Doctor in Maryland.
• Participate in physician recruitment, informational, and onboarding calls.
• Partner with Provider Success and Credentialing to monitor onboarding and address barriers.
• Help new physicians become familiar with Rocket Doctor’s workflows, EMR, and tools.
• Facilitate recurring Maryland physician meetings and operational updates.
• Address gaps in physician availability and clinic coverage.
• Troubleshoot challenges affecting physicians or patients in Maryland.
• Collaborate with U.S. Physician Leads on clinical initiatives.
• Provide Maryland-specific feedback to leadership.
