Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a hands-on MBSE Systems Engineer to capture complex system architecture in Cameo (v24) using SysML. This remote, contract-based role involves turning ambiguous discussions into structured, traceable models for multiple engineering teams.

You’ll translate engineering discussions into clear SysML content, maintain models for functional behaviour and interfaces, and perform remote model reviews to ensure technical accuracy across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML to create MBSE models.
• Experience capturing requirements and traceability in complex domains.
• Ability to derive clear models from incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Understand how complex systems function and how requirements, constraints, signals and interfaces relate to each other.
• Translate technical information from discussions into structured SysML models in Cameo.
• Develop and maintain models covering functional behaviour, system architecture, interfaces, signal flow, constraints and requirement relationships.
• Use Cameo to support requirements capture, tracking and traceability.
• Build functional models that show what the system does and how functions interact.
• Capture and type signals as they cross between model parts.
• Identify modelling gaps and ambiguities and work with engineers to resolve them.
• Run remote model reviews with stakeholders to confirm technical accuracy.
