Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an MBSE Engineer to analyze system operations, decompose architectures, and model interdependencies using UML, SysML, and DoDAF 2.0/UPDM.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across domains, generate data and reports, and support executable models and toolchains (Cameo EA). This position offers remote work from anywhere in the U.S. with occasional onsite duties near Hanscom/DAF bases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related MBSE engineering experience.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Experience with UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, and UAF.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system operations and perform analysis of system operations.
• Decompose architectures via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF).
• Model systems from multiple perspectives (capability, operational, system, functional) and at different abstraction levels.
• Familiarity with UML modeling tools (Cameo EA preferred).
• Engage with stakeholders across domains to analyze requirements, processes, and capabilities.
• Extend UML-based models to other tools/environments via frameworks/APIs.
• Generate data and reports; deliverables for customers and peers.
