Job description

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will:

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville, Suitland, Dayton, Charlottesville).
• Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts.
• Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis.
• Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment.

Primary Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA; 6+ years of relevant experience with MS/MA, and 3+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D. (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
• TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools.
• Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems.
• Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment).
• Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Familiarity with some of the following tools:
• Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit
• RMSiS, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK
• Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel
• UAF/SysML, Enovia, NGTS, AFSIM
• Demonstrated experience presenting technical updates to government customers and senior stakeholders.
