Job summary

XSITE LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer III to join our team supporting PMW/A 170 office/contract. The role blends MBSE practice with DoDAF/UAF architecture in a government-facing environment, with hybrid work and security clearances as needed.

Responsibilities include developing MBSE models using SysML/UML, maintaining architecture artifacts, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and producing technical briefings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of MBSE experience.
• Knowledge of SysML/UML modeling.
• Experience in cross-platform MBSE/digital engineering environments.
• Knowledge of DoDAF/UAF.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain MBSE models and artifacts to support requirements, design, integration and verification.
• Apply SysML and UML to create structured system models and technical products.
• Support DoDAF/UAF-based architecture development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability and alignment of model artifacts.
• Analyze engineering data to support model development and interface definitions.
• Prepare technical briefings and MBSE/architecture documentation.
