Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or related concentration.
• Three or more years of work experience in a finance related role.
• Strong initiative with ability to present and interact with multiple levels of management and customers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task and support several projects concurrently.
• Advanced level MS Excel skills; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Ryder's business development and operations in costing and pricing activities, including data gathering for costing analyses and pricing strategies.
• Provide financial support and advice to operations management to maximize financial performance and establish controls.
• Prepare various internal financial reports for executive management.
• Perform monthly analysis of financial statements to identify trends and variances.
• Contribute to three-year and annual strategic planning, capital budgeting, and investments such as acquisitions and leases.
• Support Treasury with capital market analysis to help manage a multi-billion dollar portfolio.
• Analyze current and potential markets, competitors, and disruptive trends and present findings to executive leadership.
