Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is hiring for a material coordination role at the New Albany, OH site supporting a semiconductor manufacturing plant project. The role focuses on material planning and coordination to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for installation, with close collaboration across supply chain, engineering, and construction teams.

The position requires a University hire with 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent level of overall experience in construction

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of vendor materials, tools, consumables and safety material commonly utilized during construction.
• Experience in receiving documentation paperwork requirements.
• Strong automation skills, ability to learn new applications quickly including DSCS.

Responsibilities

• Performs material coordination activities at jobsite to ensure accurate reporting of material and equipment work package statuses for installation.
• Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms and uses Supply Chain Automation tools.
• Coordinates material availability in support of design revisions and contingency plans.
• Participates in planning meetings to stay aware of changes in installation plans and priorities.
• Coordinates with warehouse personnel for materials to be issued directly to installation areas.
