Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Bentonville, AR seeks a master plumber to maintain and repair plumbing systems across facilities. You will troubleshoot, install, and diagnose plumbing issues, lead junior staff, and ensure compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade (Master-level experience preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Licensed Master Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
• License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Observes and documents signs of wear and tear.
• Gathers capital expense information and recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Determines replacement needs and documents preventive maintenance activities.
• Performs major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Inspects, operates, or tests facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Dismantles equipment, machines, or facilities to access defective parts.
• Diagnoses problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers; conducts training on techniques, codes, and safety.
• Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors; orders parts and tracks usage.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart quality standards.
• Leads teams and coordinates with external contractors and inspectors.
