Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Plumber, Facility Services, to maintain safety, functionality, and appearance of Walmart facilities across multiple locations.

The role includes preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems, managing work orders, and coordinating with contractors to ensure quality and safety. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and strong documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
• License in related trade in city/state of work.
• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
• Experience using Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools.
• Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and capital expense information accurately.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management and team members to improve processes and maintain a safe work environment.
