Job summary

Revance is seeking a Sr. Buyer/Planner to plan and execute the Master Production Schedule, ensuring timely availability of finished goods for multiple product groups. This role collaborates with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Operations, handling procurement, inventory planning, and supplier management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in buying/planning, strong math and analytical skills, and hands-on experience with ERP/IBP systems. Remote work supports collaboration across sites and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ directly related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement, planning principles, theories, and processes.
• Experience in chemicals/packaging, inventory planning, and/or contract manufacturing.
• Hands-on, organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan Master Production Schedule (MPS) and execute production orders to meet sales demands.
• Review MPS for changes due to design, labor, or material shortages, coordinating with R&D, Engineering, Sales and Operations.
• Manage MRP by placing and tracking all purchase orders to vendors or contract manufacturers.
• Maintain open purchase orders, monitor ETAs, and support AP with PO discrepancies.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and procurement processes.
• Coordinate with Strategic Sourcing to secure new suppliers and resolve issues.
• Manage inventories to meet production demands and company goals.
• Maintain communication with vendors to meet delivery and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with CMOs and Crown for product changes and supply concerns.
