Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Mass Appraisal & Property Assessment Consultant to support local-government engagements nationwide. This remote-first role involves technical guidance and hands-on assessment work for real property valuation programs.

You will evaluate CAMA models, provide training to assessors, review data quality and sales validation, and suggest process improvements. Candidates with 5+ years in mass appraisal and IAAO knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in mass appraisal or real property assessment.
• Working knowledge of IAAO standards and ratio studies.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate CAMA models, valuation methods, and ratio-study performance (IAAO standards)
• Provide technical assistance and training to assessors
• Review data quality, sales validation, and assessment administration
• Recommend process and system improvements
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming
