Job summary

AlphaGov seeks a Mass Appraisal & Property Assessment Consultant for local-government engagements. The role is remote-first with occasional client travel, and engagements are project-based on a 1099 basis.

You will evaluate CAMA models, provide training to assessors, review data quality, and recommend improvements. Experience with IAAO standards and real property assessment is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in mass appraisal or real property assessment.
• Working knowledge of IAAO standards and ratio studies.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate CAMA models, valuation methods, and ratio-study performance (IAAO standards)
• Provide technical assistance and training to assessors
• Review data quality, sales validation, and assessment administration
• Recommend process and system improvements
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming
