Job summary

Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital marketing, social media, content development, and analytics from a remote Wisconsin-based setting. The internship runs December 2026 through May 2027 and reports to the VP of Marketing & Brand Strategy.

You will gain hands-on experience with marketing technologies, audience engagement strategies, and performance measurement while contributing to Wisconsin’s economic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, PR, nonprofit management, event management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing automation and CRM activities.
• Assist with social media content planning, creation, publishing, and audience engagement.
• Research and analyze marketing, content, SEO, and digital media trends to identify opportunities.
• Monitor marketing performance metrics and develop insights to support data-informed decisions.
• Contribute to content development projects that promote Wisconsin’s businesses and opportunities.
• Support additional marketing and communications projects as assigned.
