Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Marketing Growth Communications Intern to support campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app, leveraging Braze and AI to optimize engagement with millions of shoppers.

You will build assets, QA pages, and manage asset flow, while coordinating with Marketing, Design, Product and Compliance to ensure timely, compliant activation. This internship develops strategic content and analytics skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or a related field.
• Basic project management skills.
• Prior experience with Braze or another CRM/marketing automation platform is a plus.
• Experience building email templates or landing pages is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Build marketing communications in Braze across email, push, SMS, and in-app.
• Build and QA landing pages and campaign assets; ensure rendering before reach a single shopper.
• Own day-to-day asset production: build, QA, approvals, deployment, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage compliance and legal approvals of assets.
• Support day-to-day operations and keep campaigns on schedule.
• Maintain campaign documentation — briefs, schedules, reports, assets.
• Identify risks and suggest mitigations.
• Support client and sales with in‑app setup and reporting.
• Pull campaign performance data and report results.
• Recommend optimizations based on past campaigns.
• Test copy, creative, timing; compare variants.
• Use AI tools to speed up research, drafts, and reporting.
