Job summary

Volt is hiring a Marketing Communications Representative to join its remote-friendly team. You will partner with the marcom specialist to execute campaigns, translate strategy into tactics, and manage small projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include coordinating channels (digital, social, events), supporting trade shows, and preparing campaign reporting. Travel up to 10% and strong writing skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in marketing.
• 1+ year of relevant experience supporting marketing communications, campaigns, or integrated marketing programs (internship or part-time experience acceptable).
• Ability to translate marketing communication strategy into clear tactics, messaging, and day-to-day execution plans.
• Strong project coordination skills, including managing small projects, schedules, deadlines, and follow-ups with multiple stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of marketing channels and deliverables, including digital marketing, social media, events/trade shows, publications, and sales enablement tools.
• Comfort coordinating with external vendors to develop and deliver campaign assets; able to manage revisions and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as needed (e.g., for events, trade shows, or team meetings).
• Ability to learn new tools, systems, and procedures quickly; adaptable to changing priorities and last-minute requests

Responsibilities

• Partner with the marcom specialist to execute marketing communication strategies for assigned product lines and market segments.
• Translate strategy into clear communication tactics, messaging, and actionable next steps.
• Coordinate small projects and schedules—managing timelines, approvals, and deliverables across stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and execution of an integrated marketing communications plan.
• Recommend and support a marketing channel mix across digital, social media, events/trade shows, publications, and sales enablement tools.
• Support event and trade show communications, including coordination of materials and timelines.
• Prepare presentation materials and reporting updates on campaign plans, progress, and results.
• Coordinate with external vendors to develop, refine, and deliver campaign assets on time and to quality standards.
• Resolve routine issues and elevate as needed, working with broadly defined objectives and supportive supervision.
