Job summary

Global Impact Collective is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to support marketing, communications, campaigns, and events across client work and GIC initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who is a strong writer and editor, highly organized, and excited to help turn ideas into communications that people want to read and act upon.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, content development, events, or project coordination.
• Strong writer and editor able to turn rough material into concise, engaging communications.
• Campaign-minded and capable of building awareness and participation over time.
• Highly organized with experience managing editorial calendars, deadlines, reviews, and multiple workstreams.
• Strong project management: ownership, proactive follow-up, and delivering with minimal direction.
• Detail-oriented with focus on typos, formatting, approvals, and deadlines.
• Audience-focused: clear on what to communicate and what actions to prompt.
• Technology fluent: proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook) and newsletters; comfortable with AI tools; experience with email marketing, social scheduling, and Framer is a plus.
• Preferred exposure to growth marketing analytics or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit content for newsletters, emails, announcements, presentations, and web content.
• Plan and manage communications campaigns, calendars, timing, and audience targeting.
• Create communications materials including PowerPoint presentations and simple graphics.
• Support events with planning, speaker coordination, timelines, materials, rehearsals, and logistics.
• Support GIC marketing: maintain website (Framer), manage social media, write blog posts, edit editorial calendar, and support brand and sales materials.
• Manage projects: track plans, timelines, action items, and follow-ups across communications, campaigns, and events.
