Job summary

Giga Energy Inc. seeks a Communications Manager to own the community messaging, landing pages, and materials for town-hall style engagements across sites. You will ensure a consistent narrative, build internal briefs, and maintain the community communications calendar.

You will also develop local media relationships, draft and publish materials, and coordinate with leadership and the PR agency. Travel 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in communications, public affairs, corporate communications, or content marketing.
• Ability to turn technical, legal, or regulatory material into plain language a resident can read quickly.
• Experience building messaging documents, FAQs, and Q&A used by others without your presence.
• Experience producing presentation and print materials on deadline, including slides, handouts, and one-pagers.
• Experience working with reporters, including fielding inquiries and coordinating executive comment.

Responsibilities

• Own the single source of truth for community messaging: messaging docs, FAQs, and Q&A for each site.
• Turn project decisions into internal narrative documents so all employees tell the same story.
• Build, launch, and maintain the community landing page for each site.
• Own the community communications calendar across all active sites.
• Own the community goodwill calendar and tracker: commitments, deliveries, and outstanding items.
• Produce town hall and community meeting materials, including slides, handouts, posters, FAQs, and collateral.
• Build and manage relationships with local media and coordinate with PR agency.
• Source and execute local goodwill and sponsorship opportunities.
• Support community benefit agreements with drafting support and plain-language versions.
• Support public meetings with materials, prep, and messaging.
• Route reporter inquiries escalated past routine to the Director of Content & Communications.
