Job summary

Baymard Institute is seeking a remote Market Research Data Analyst to own end-to-end quantitative survey studies. You will design questionnaires, program surveys in Alchemer, and work with PureSpectrum for sampling.

The role focuses on delivering rigorous insights across ecommerce UX research in a fully distributed team. You will analyze survey data, synthesize findings, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of professional experience in quantitative research, market research, survey research, or closely related field.
• Hands-on experience designing questionnaires and online survey research.
• Experience analyzing survey datasets and synthesizing quantitative findings into meaningful conclusions.
• Experience with survey platforms such as Alchemer, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own quantitative survey studies from design through fieldwork, analysis and publication.
• Program and QA surveys in Alchemer, with quotas and branching where needed.
• Coordinate with sample providers on feasibility and setup.
• Clean, structure and analyze survey datasets and synthesize findings.
• Create charts and concise analysis takeaways for ecommerce UX professionals.
