Job summary

Humana is seeking a Market Finance Lead for the Northeast Region to deliver financial analysis, insights, and decision support that improve Medicare Advantage market performance. You will collaborate with Corporate Finance, Provider Engagement, Contracting, Medicare Risk Adjustment, Clinical, and Market teams.

This role combines analytical rigor with leadership of one direct report, balancing hands-on analysis and coaching, and translating data into clear recommendations for regional operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in financial analysis, reporting or analytics in finance.
• Experience in insurance, managed care, or Medicare Advantage.
• Strong trend analysis, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive recurring and ad hoc financial analyses, dashboards and reports.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Support regional Medicare Advantage bid strategy and product positioning.
• Partner with Corporate Finance on capitation accruals, forecasting and close.
• Improve efficiency and scalability through automation and standardization.
• Translate business needs into data definitions and analytic models.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships for timely delivery of initiatives.
• Present findings clearly to finance and non‑finance audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and strong controls.
