Job summary

Coloplast is seeking a Market Access Specialist in Canada to support reimbursement, market access, and government affairs initiatives. The role coordinates submissions, builds value evidence, and engages with government, payers, industry, clinical, and patient groups.

Hybrid work options are available for local candidates, with up to 25% travel including the U.S. and international regions. A strong background in health policy and market access within Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in political science, government affairs, health policy or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in market access, reimbursement, health economics, healthcare consulting, government affairs, public policy, or related healthcare field.
• Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including provincial and federal funding mechanisms.
• Understanding of pricing/reimbursement environment and government/payer review in medical devices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical, economic, reimbursement data.
• Experience developing reimbursement, value demonstration, or stakeholder communication materials.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% including travel to the U.S., and internationally
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of market access plans and reimbursement initiatives led by the Manager, Market Access & Government Affairs.
• Prepare and coordinate reimbursement submissions, funding applications, value dossiers, and supporting documentation for public and private payers.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize reimbursement, policy, and market access information for decision making.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, advocacy initiatives, and external engagement activities.
• Maintain stakeholder databases, engagement plans, and project documentation.
• Synthesize clinical, economic, reimbursement, and healthcare evidence into stakeholder materials.
• Coordinate collection and validation of data used in market access initiatives.
• Support adaptation of global evidence for the Canadian market.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and activities across projects.
