Job summary

Boyd Corp is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join its sales team and drive revenue growth by identifying new customers and expanding existing business within the manufacturing sector.

The role reports to the VP of Sales and requires building relationships, educating customers about Boyd’s capabilities, and collaborating across departments to improve sales performance. International travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 4–5 years related experience in a technical selling role within manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker focused on driving business growth and market expansion.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies including market analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Experience using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and manage relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets and industries.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, understanding needs and delivering solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to support sales initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback for growth opportunities.
• Engage with customers at various levels to drive growth and manage accounts.
• Manage quotation process and prepare formal proposals with pricing to maximize revenue and gross margin.
• Lead with sales operations to monitor project progress from inception to production.
