Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and on-site support for our in-process balancing and control products on precision grinding machines. You will accompany sales reps, install systems, and run live demonstrations to drive the final sale.

The role requires 3+ years in the machine tool industry, an engineering- or tech-focused degree, and a willingness to travel weekly.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in the machine tool industry.
Technical high school diploma or university degree in engineering or a related field.
Willingness to travel weekly to customer sites.
Bilingual Japanese/English preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and post-installation support for in-process balancing and control products on customers' precision grinding machines.
Accompany sales representatives to customer sites and deliver tailored technical presentations.
Install products on customers' grinding machines and run live demonstrations.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting after the demo to ensure performance and secure the final sale.
Oversee on-site setup and fine-tuning of installed products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Serve as the technical bridge between the customer, the sales team, and the product.
