Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sales Engineer for an innovative, growth-oriented engineering and manufacturing company. The role focuses on leading technical demonstrations, installation and post-installation support for in-process balancing systems used on precision grinding machines.

Frequent travel to customer sites is required, with a remote-friendly setup and competitive bonus eligibility. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in machine tools, engineering credentials, and the ability to travel weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in the machine tool industry.
• Willingness to travel weekly (several days per trip) to customer sites.
• U.S. work authorization required (Green Card or valid work visa).
• Bilingual Japanese/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and post-installation support for in-process balancing and control products on customers' precision grinding machines.
• Accompany sales representatives to customer sites and deliver technical presentations tailored to each customer's grinding application.
• Install company products on customers' grinding machines and run live, in-process demonstrations.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting after the demo to ensure performance and secure the final sale.
• Oversee on-site setup and fine-tuning of installed products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the technical bridge between the customer, the sales team, and the product.
