Job summary

Uptalent.io currently seeks a Senior Accounting Associate for a fast-growing U.S. manufacturing company. Based in Latin America, you will execute core accounting tasks—journal entries, reconciliations, GL maintenance, and month‑end close—across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience and 4+ years total accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close.
• Hands-on journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close deliverables.
• Excellent Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite/QuickBooks).
• Professional-level English; able to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Record and post journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks.
• Maintain general ledger across multiple entities and intercompany accounts.
• Process AP/AR transactions with proper coding and documentation.
• Prepare supporting schedules and management reports.
• Support project/cost accounting and variance analysis.
