Job summary

OnHires is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our product team ensuring quality of web and mobile applications. This is a pure manual QA role with no automation required.

The role focuses on hands-on testing across the product lifecycle, collaborating with developers, designers and product managers to validate features end-to-end and support high-quality releases. You will test mobile apps and REST APIs, with strong emphasis on manual processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Manual QA.
• Strong experience in mobile application testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Ukrainian — native (mandatory) and English — Upper-Intermediate+.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Test mobile applications (iOS / Android).
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers.
• Review, audit, and maintain test cases and documentation.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases.
• Validate client-server communication and REST APIs (Postman/SoapUI).
• Participate in test planning and feature validation from start to release.
• Take ownership of assigned features with high attention to detail.
