Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience in language testing or education assessment.
• Experience supervising item development in high-stakes assessments is preferred.
• Familiarity with English language development standards and K-12 education contexts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of Speaking test items and related materials for WIDA assessments.
• Provide feedback to test developers and sign off on content at key phases.
• Coordinate with managers and vendors to manage project plans and timelines.
• Lead sessions to review item content for fairness and grade-appropriateness.
• Assist in creating scoring rubrics and training materials for raters.
