Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced data operations and analytics lead to oversee philanthropy systems, direct marketing data operations, and reporting initiatives across the organization.

You will act as the SME for backend data segmentation, CRM campaigns, and data architecture, partnering with Marketing, IT, and Development teams to ensure accurate data, consistent processes, and actionable insights. This role is fully remote and nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in direct marketing, data operations or philanthropy, preferably in a nonprofit.
• Experience with fundraising CRM platforms or databases.
• Advanced SQL with best practices and ability to teach others.
• Experience maintaining data accuracy and hygiene across systems.
• Proficiency with Tableau and Power BI for dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots and macros.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and multi-priority management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee philanthropy systems, data operations, and analytics initiatives.
• Serve as SME for backend data segmentation, selection criteria, and campaign support.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute business documentation for campaigns and operations.
• Collaborate with agencies, IT and stakeholders to coordinate changes.
• Lead operational reporting and analytics projects using data visualization.
• Develop Salesforce configuration expertise and data architecture knowledge.
• Provide guidance on SQL and reporting best practices across departments.
• Manage and onboard direct reports, training, and timelines.
• Establish quality control processes to maintain data hygiene and fundraising effectiveness.
• Work with stakeholders to assess impacts, data quality challenges, controls, and improvements.
• Define and scope team projects, upgrades, migrations; gather requirements.
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
