Job summary

Living Goods is seeking a Manager of BD Operations to own CRM systems (Dynamics 365) and data-driven fundraising reporting. You will lead the CRM deployment with the tech team, train staff, and drive adoption across fundraising, finance, and programs.

You will design workflows, manage data governance, build leadership dashboards, and enable efficient grant reporting. Remote-friendly role with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in development, fundraising, or business development operations, including 2–3 years owning or administering a CRM; Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Demonstrated experience deploying a CRM, including testing, training, and driving user adoption.
• Experience configuring and rolling out project management or workflow tools for a team; Asana preferred.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to transform processes (reporting, research, data cleanup).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience building dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of the optimized CRM in partnership with the internal tech team and serve as business owner post-launch.
• Own the rollout plan: UAT, data migration/validation, training, go-live, and post-launch support.
• Oversee donor, funder, and partner data with data governance standards and enhancement road map.
• Drive CRM adoption across the BD team and other functions via training and change management.
• Lead deployment of project management software for proposal development, reporting, and deadlines.
• Produce BD reporting suite: fundraising dashboards, Board reports, portfolio reviews; track KPIs.
• Design/refine BD workflows, including prospecting, proposals, and cross-functional handoffs.
• Track proposals/reports to meet internal/external deadlines, manage and develop the Associate BD Operations.
• Bridge BD and Finance on gift reconciliation; support fundraising relationship managers.
